SWAGNET liaises with all the clinics in South West London to deliver a rolling programme of STIF courses.  The course is open to anyone, working in South West London, within primary care or sexual health services. The 2 day course aims to equip participants with the basic knowledge, skills and attitudes for the effective management of STIs. For further general information about STIF courses click here

A course developed in conjunction with BASHH, British Association of Sexual Health & HIV designed for doctors and nurses working in primary care,hospital consultants and practitioners, secondary care clinicians,district nurses,health advisers, etc.

The 2 day course aims to equip participants with the basic knowledge, skills and attitudes for the effective discussion of HIV & HIV testing in primary care and where appropriate to manage the primary care aspects of the their health of.

The RCGP Introductory Certificate in Sexual Health (ICSH) is a one-day training event combined with an e-learning module designed for GPs and practice nurses who want to build their skills and confidence in this vital area of healthcare.

 

Over 1600 GPs and practice nurses have already successfully completed the e-module and the four training days held so far in London, Manchester and Wales have been evaluated excellently.

Before you attend you need to have completed the e-module ‘Sexual Health in General Practice’ which is available at
www.doctors.net.uk/rcgpeducation and get your pass certificate.  Nurses can access the e-module via www.uknursing.net.
